Soccer Camp 2010 Opens

On the first day of summer, Faith opened its third annual Soccer Camp. The camp gave children ages 4-13 a chance to learn about soccer and learn about their Savior. This year the camp's theme is "Win the Prize!"

We welcomed 150 children to the camp and its worked by 60 volunteer coaches and support staff. Faith's Teen group stepped up in a big way to help work the camp.

Each day started with a devotion and then the children did soccer drills, Bible stories, snacks and fun. Wednesday is Pro Day, when Professsional player Tara Minnax of the Atlanta Silverbacks will be here to coach and work with the kids.

The weather has been nice, but very hot. Keeping the kids hydrated was first priority; plenty of shade time helped cool them off.
