Men's Softball 2012

Believe it or not, spring is in the air. Registration for Coweta County’s men’s church softball league is open.

The season starts the week of March 5th and usually lasts 10 or 11 weeks. The games in the past have been on either Tuesday or Thursday at 7:00, 8:00 or 9:00 pm and played at the Hunter Complex on Hwy 16 in Newnan/Sharpsburg. The cost will range from $35 to $50, depending on how many we have on the roster. To help me gauge the interest level, please contact me ASAP at scottbuth@gmail.com or buthhalfdozen@numail.com.

Also, the long range weather forecast looks good for Sunday, Jan 22. We will have an informal practice, open to anyone, on Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Hunter Complex on Hwy 16. If the fields are locked up or we can’t get on them, plan “B” will be to move the practice to Lee Middle School/Willis Road Elementary located on Willis Road. This practice is for anyone interested in getting out and having some fellowship. You do not have to be committed to playing during the season to show up.
