Welcome

Welcome to our new website! We've been working hard over the past few months to bring this site to you and we're thrilled to unveil it finally. We'll be adding a few new features and plenty of photographs in the coming days and weeks, but most of the site functionality is already in place. Allow us to explain a few of the features.

• HD Worship Webcast
  We've revamped our webcast section and turned it into a portal for high-definition video of the Sunday message at Faith. Also available is an archive of more than six months of past sermons, although they are available only in low resolution. The worship webcast section uses a dark color scheme to bring a 'theater' look to the video and reduce viewing distractions.
• Church Announcements
  The news link takes you to a news portal for the congregation. Recent announcements and scheduled event notices appear on the news page regularly. An RSS feed has also been provided if you'd like to subscribe to notifications.
• New Preschool Section
  We've created a preschool section of the website for parents to find out all the information they need about the preschool. An updates portal is available there as well for parents to check out the latest news and information about school. An RSS feed of preschool updates has also been provided.
• Devotional Reader
  Our national church body provides feeds of daily Bible readings and devotions for teens, college students, and adults. If you visit our devotional reader section you'll see the latest items from those feeds. This is a great way to stay in touch with God's word each and every day.
• Contact Form
  You may now send the church office or preschool an email message using the form on our website.

Here are a few of the additional features were developing for the future.

• Photo Galleries
  We'll create a number of photo galleries on the popular photo-sharing website Flickr.com. We'll also create a system so congregational families can submit their own photos to the pool.
• Stories and Articles
  We've got plenty of announcements telling about upcoming events, but what about recaps and articles about the events after they take place? We want to fill that gap and will be providing articles summarizing events and telling the stories of Faith Lutheran through words and photos.
• Special Events and Feature Pages
  Some of the biggest events at Faith deserve their own section of the website. We'll be working with individuals in the church to craft sections for events like Soccer Camp, Fall Festival, Great Georgia Airshow, and other similar events. We'll also create pages about current and future Bible classes where we will post class resources and other information.
